Still a Bozeman biking poster child
My Facebook inbox kept pinging yesterday as folks from Bozeman let me know that the dudes and I made it into the paper, even though we moved away more than a year ago.
Looks like the Bozeman Area Bicycle Advisory Board figured out that 6.3% of Bozeman's population commutes by bike, far above the national average of 0.5%, and they applied for a special distinction from the League of American Bicyclists. Huzzah!
Who better to show off bike-friendly Bozeman than a lovely family out for a ride? The picture was taken in July of 2010 for an article I wrote on sane family biking. Wow, the dudes have grown.
Congrats to BABAB, thanks to all of my wonderful friends who saw the photo and e-mailed, and thanks to Bozeman for having the bike culture that jump-started my big bike love.

Very cool! I smiled when I saw this. You're still influencing biking in Bozeman -- from Kalispell!
